This course is designed to introduce students in K-12 to the world of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or drones and provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary to become certified remote pilots. Students will learn about the principles of flight, airspace regulations, safety protocols, and operational procedures needed to safely and responsibly operate a UAV.

The course is structured in a way that allows students to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule. It incorporates interactive online modules, virtual reality simulations, and practical exercises to ensure that students have a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.

Upon completion of the course, students will be prepared to take the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Remote Pilot Certification exam. Successful completion of this exam will earn them a Remote Pilot Certificate, which will enable them to operate drones commercially, and will provide them with a valuable skill set that can be used in a variety of industries.
